Who need to apply for K-ETA?
K-ETA is for nationals of 66 visa waiver countries and nationals of 46 designated visa-free countries. K-ETA is required for foreign nationals who intend to enter the Republic of Korea for tourism, visiting relatives, participate in events or meetings, and business purposes other than profitable activities.

Difference between standard payment and premium payment
General payment is an application method according to the basic application process of the Electronic Travel Authorization Center, and the electronic travel authorization is issued after reviewing the K-ETA approval based on universal standards. .
For premium payment, only very brief information, passport photo and ID photo must be attached during the K-ETA application process.
It is an application method that increases the pass rate of permit approval in strict screening standards and allows you to check the results faster.
Should the face photo required for K-ETA application be the same as the passport photo?
No. The face photo does not have to be the same as the passport
photo, but it must meet the following conditions: · Color photo. · JPG files. · Hats, scarves, sunglasses, etc. are prohibited. · Ears must not be covered. · Do not wear colorful patterned clothes.· The front of the face must occupy at least 75% of the photo, and the photo must be taken with eyes open and facing the front of the camera. |
